I dont much care for selfies of this manner,
but this is the 100% scale helmet, with the 110% width.
TBH. it feels and looks very bobble heady to me.
second print is already on the plate. 23 hours to go.

PS i feel like im channeling a Hydra foot soldier from Captain america without the face guard.

Helmet file has been completed by the designer.
i up-scaled the width to 110% and left the front to back and height scale at 100%.
but i feel like its a little too big. so im going to reprint the helmet base at 95% but keep the width ( left to right) at 100%. see how that goes.

Bogging and sanding, sanding and Bogging.
finally im starting to see real results. i have put the final coat of spray putty on. just a few sections that need a quick wet sand and the shins, chest and back plate will be complete.

i was always going to attempt this armor with hand drawn templates. but getting some of those more complex curves and angles would have cooked my brain and OCD for perfection.

Really well.
i dropped it down to 93% scale of its original supplied 100%, and its much more ergonomic, not as oversized, and the pistol grip is perfect sized to grip,

SHIN UPDATE.
The original scale for the shin guards were rather oversized.
i kept the height the same, but scaled down the length and width.
once padding will be added, the newer scale will sit nice and snug. i have also decided to separate the rear inside plate from the whole shin and have that as ...
